Congressional candidate in Louisiana's third congressional district Dr. Phillip Conner released the following statement regarding passage of tax legislation that would add more than $1 trillion to federal budget deficits over the next decade, even after accounting for economic growth:
"Louisiana families are sick of being victims of Wall Street greed and congressional hypocrisy. I stand with our people in opposing final passage of this legislation that will hurt our farmers, working families, seniors, and veterans."
Candidate for Louisiana's third congressional district Dr. Phillip Conner released the following statement regarding the Federal Communications Commission's upcoming December 14 vote on Net Neutrality and its potential effect on consumers and small businesses:
"As a small business owner and an advocate for small businesses across the third district, I cannot support a policy that will clearly put small businesses at a disadvantage.
